Born in Strumica, Macedonia, in 2006, Ivana Maznejkova’s musical journey began at home, where her parents, both piano teachers, introduced her to the piano at a young age. By age three, she was already performing publicly in her hometown, and her dedication only grew from there.
Ivana completed her early training at the State Musical Educational Center “Sergej Mihajlov” and, at 17, joined Codarts University of the Arts in Rotterdam, studying with Ma. Nino Gvetadze. She is a regular participant in masterclasses led by renowned pianists like Simon Trpčeski and Natalia Trull, and has performed in prestigious venues across Europe, from Brussels’ Bozar to the Mozarteum in Salzburg.
With over 190 performances and numerous accolades, Ivana’s awards include 44 first prizes in piano competitions across Europe. In addition to her solo work, she has recorded a CD of electroacoustic music with her sister Ana, showcasing a family bond through music. Ivana’s performances are marked by her versatility, and she looks forward to continuing exploring new musical landscapes in the years to come.
